Who We Are
Adamstown Community Carers are a group of volunteers who give practical, compassionate support to the people in the community who are elderly, housebound or have a disability and to those who care for them.
Our Service Area
We cover Adamstown, Adamstown Heights, Kotara, Kotara South, New Lambton, Lambton, Hamilton and Merewether. We will also attend other unsupportred areas depending on availability of our volunteers.
Services Provided

Shopping: FOR and WITH a person who cannot manage alone.

Transport: can be provided for those who are unable to manage public transport. If required our volunteer will wait with you to take you home.

Home visiting: gives friendly companionship and contact

Relief Care: gives company (up to 4 hours) to the person being cared for. By appointment only

Home Phone Link: a weekly social call to keep in contact with our clients

Information Link: provides information about the wide variety of community services that may be of help to our clinet.
