Sunday Interlude Concerts
Sunday Interlude Concerts present fundraising concerts, featuring young emerging artists and experienced mentors. The concerts have proved very popular, with the unbeatable combination of wonderful music presented by talented performers in a relaxed atmosphere, and delicious morning tea. Sunday Interlude Concerts began in 2004 with a series of three events. In that year, $1400 was equally divided between Lifeline and an organ scholarship. In 2005, a series of five concerts focused fundraising in two directions. The first two concerts provided $1100 for Tsunami Relief in Sri Lanka. The remaining proceeds were once again divided equally between Lifeline and the organ scholarship. In 2007, Lifeline is again a major focus alongside the music ministry at Adamstown Uniting Church which includes the organ scholarship, the provision and maintenance of the instruments on which so many artists rely.
